Quite. It's an easy choice. The in flight catering, legroom, and toilet (restroom) means the 130 wins hands down.

I beg to differ.... ;D

I have ridden in the back of a C-130 several times, and they were all hands down, THE MOST miserable flights I've ever been on.... ;D

Depend whether you in the front or back seats... ;)

I am with you Andrew, Alaska to Germany. 14 of the most miserable hours I have ever had to endure. And as for the toilets, Charlie you must be referring to an executive throne reserved

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Thankfully my "down the rear" Herc time is limited to about 30 minutes! ;D

And as for the toilets, Charlie you must be referring to an executive throne reserved  for people at the pointy end and not the piss can with an ill fitting curtain down the back ;D ;D

Better than the loo in the F-16 then! ;D

Wow, just a picture makes my heart start beating really fast, I cant imagine what will happen if I get to ever get close to one of those birds. This puts a big smile on my face that is hard to remove haha.

When you say one of our planes, does that mean you fly/are involved with C-17's Chris? That globemaster dwarfs the vipers btw, awesome shot.

Yes I maintain the C-17, just not McCords plane in the pic.
One of 3 planes that make ours look small.

But for you, this F-16CJ Wild Weasel is the coolest one I belive. 8-)

Good luck, it's one of the hardest career fields to get into, but it isn't impossible.

Actually looking at pilot/nav myself. Should be spending my 6 weeks at Maxwell in the summer of 09... not looking forward to that bit of fun.

And yeah... if they made a Herc that could do what a -15 does, I'd be all over it, just for the latrine. But I'll take the alternative if it means a fighter slot. :)
