How much to you reckon??

Not often than an air worthy Spitfire comes up to auction, for sale. It is reckoned that it will go for about a million Sterling. What do you think. No prises, but have a guess.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Sold to a Chinese/HK businessman, apparently to be donated to the national museum in China. Ground-bound it'll remain I suspect. Not surprised though, as if it had really been airworthy it would have been sold through the more "normal" channels, such as Provenance in California etc.

Celtman was closest.

The same was asked when Rolls Royce bought an airworthy Mk IX, and donated it to a Brazilian museum.

Maybe he's trying to sell something?
