Nieuport24 crashes at Rhinebeck Aerodrome in NY...

Reports are still somewhat sketchy.... 8/17/08

Tragedy at the "Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome" in "upstate" NY......

It appears that the WWI "Fokker Dr1"

Very sad to hear, a tragic loss for all involved in ORA.

Other fora are suggesting it was a replica Nieuport 24, not an 11.

Yes, updated info indicates it was a Nieuport 24.

BTW, this is far from the first crash at ORA but this is the first death.
