Oh, and in case no-one else has noticed, you will no longer be able to buy tickets on the gate on Saturday......I can see a lot of angry people in Gloucestershire this weekend...TBH this is the final straw as RIAT is concerned for me.....it's too big, the price is extortionate, and this development adds insult to injury.....I now know I made the right decision in booking tickets to Cambridge

I suspect it may have something to do with the American security side of things.

As for RIAT - Friday's the day, to see the RAF 90 flypast. Having seen most of the elements over the last 2 days floating around, it will probably be the most impressive since the BoB 50th in 1990.

I've heard it being said that it's also to prevent the ground from being too churned up on one day....still...makes no business sense to me whatsoever....

Also rumours that they are trying their best to get windbreaks, mini tents and stepladders away from the crowdline....good news for people like me, but for families I can understand why they have them....

Yes. A little note came with my tickets saying that the use of windbreaks, tents, ladders, etc were banned within the front 10 metres. Sounds like a good idea, but I don't envy the cadets who have to enforce it!
