Just a heads up, I'll probably spend a few hours at Brize tomorrow afternoon :) Any company is very welcome :)

I've postponed it until tomorrow.....the weather isn't looking particularly brilliant today, whereas tomorrow it looks like sunny intervals rather than heavy rain :P

Anyway, when I get there it'll be at the 26 end (closest to the bus stop :P)

I might be tempted to join you but I'm not sure I'll have a car tomorrow & don't fancy getting soaked.

I'm fed up with this rotten weather. >:( Monday's show at Goodwood was cancelled as the airfield was badly flooded. (Sunday was beautiful but it rained hard all night.) That cost me 15 quid as I had purchased an advanced ticket but this will apparently be valid next year. I should have learned to ignore the BBC weather forecasts by now but it's not looking good for this weekend either. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/
Even if they got it wrong the airfields will be a tad soggy after all the rain. This season has been a disaster so far.

I have to agree with you there Doug, sorry to hear about Goodwood, but after all that rain I'm not surprised.....anyway, the BBC are forecasting no rain for tomorrow, so I'm probably gonna get soaked :P

You're right. It's pretty pants here today. Wet and miserable.

Looks a little better for tomorrow. :)

Ahhh bugger. Mic I'd have joined you but I'm in Singapore on business. Brize is just down from the road from my place. Found a nice spot at the 08 end, just off the B4020.

I should make the most of this trip and check out the local. Anyone for Changi on Sunday? Gonna try and catch an A380.

Damn it, love to join you, all i have ever photographed is bleedin' Bristol and i'd happily take a change. But transport is again an issue, I can't drive and i somehow doubt i could persuade my parents to drive me all that way, for all they perceive - photos!!!! ::) ::) . However, after exams etc i am hoping to travel to some other fields, such as Heathrow etc when i have more time.

Have fun there tommorow, hope the weather holds!!!

I used to deliver to a company on that tiny industrial estate round the back (im presuming) of brize norton - a coffee company next to some sort of garage. Never did i see anything from there !! Bloody loud though so it must have been really close. Saw VC-10's and stuff on the way in and out doing circuits and what have you. Used to park up and have a coffee and watch them on some little road near the estate.

So thats my tip, dont go to the industrial estate round the back, you wont see anything from there!!

Ill get my coat :P

This reminds me. I must get a Senior one. It will go nicely with my free bus pass. 8-)

Well, just got back....had a lovely day despite the wind being in the wrong direction. Sunny until about 3ish, there were two VC10s and a C17 circuit bashing until lunch then a C17 and tristar in the afternoon.....very worthwhile :)
