Hey.. I'm flying from Columbus to Sturgeon Bay, the weekend of June 21. If weather won't let me take the VFR flyway up Lake Shore Dr, Chicago... I'll have to fly ALL the way around KORD airspace..I'll make C29 a fuel stop :)
Dang! I'm leaving the 18th for two weeks in Wyoming so I won't be around that weekend. You never know with the summer weather here, maybe you should plan a few extra days at the beginning of the trip, just in case.
We got weathered out (heavy frost on the wings and below freezing temps)... but I'm gonna try again, Monday. It's rougher than I remember.. mostly cosmetic stuff though. It has a WAAS-equiped Garmin430 and barely 600 hours on the engine (160hp).. so I'm still intrigued :)
That sounds pretty good... what do you think he'll let it go for?
