I'll be at Legends on the Sunday but, other than that, I have no firm plans this year. I always try to get to the Merlin Flying Club/Rolls Royce fly in at Hucknall in June. With RIAT and Legends on the same weekend I'm not sure how good a show it will be this year. I though last year's Legends was a tad dissapointing. Should thin out the crowds a bit though.

The thing with Legends is that its a TFC run show. The good news is that most of the historic content I've seen provided at RIAT in the past (for Heritage flights etc) have been from TFC's stable. The only knock on effect I see may be more legroom at Duxford. Great! ;) ;D

I drove 600 miles last Sept. to attend the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends and honestly I would have driven 1200 miles to attend that.

I'm dissapointed that I cant make it to Legends but I'll try to get to Duxford at some point. I'll hopefully be taking a flight on the DC-3's farewell tour when it visits St Mawgan... Looks like a good year for me (my first proper airshow season)... pity I can't go to Farnborough too but ahh well. My AS Level exams have successfully missed Abingdon and Biggin which is good, I just need to make sure that my History exam doesn't get in the way of any airshows (wrong priorities here?!  ;D).

Luckily, my family in Salisbury let me use their house as a 'base' otherwise I couldn't get anywhere.

Mic, if you do come down to Culdrose drop me a PM and I'll send you some recommendations and details of our appalling and expensive public transport!  ;D
