Co-pilot falls ill mid-flight...

Postby igs942 » Wed Jan 30, 2008 12:10 pm

Sad story of a co-pilot who's had a breakdown mid flight. Hope he gets better.

I love all this "politically correct" crap about
"At no time were the safety of the passengers or crew in question," said an Air Canada spokesman.

yeah right, what about the time he was in the cockpit!  ::)

I remember when the Chief Constable for Manchester claimed he was talking to God and one wag said he was hearing voices 10 years before they got walkie-talkies ;D

"A passenger said the pilot was carried from the plane shouting and swearing, saying he wanted to talk "to God"...."

Apparently, God has been voicing his annoyance at the pollution in his part of the sky, caused by Air Canada flights.

Paul.... ;)...!

..I wonder if God tunes in to Aircraft radio frequencies?... ::)...!

One could argue that it is questioned every time an aeroplane takes off... ;)

Well I bet that'll be the last flight in a long time he'll fly. Never heard of such a thing; it says he even had to be put in restraints.  :(

I think it just goes to show that even people in specialized, high responsibility jobs (pilots, doctors, police, etc.) are still very much human like everyone else.  Sometimes so much is expected of people in those type of professions, it comes as a shock to realize they have all the normal needs and weaknesses of other mere mortals.

Hoping he recovers,

Good morning all... :)

Well said Darrin...everyone is human.   :)

Another very good reason to have two pilots in the cockpit.

Sounds more to me though like a tabloid story so before making anymore comments I shall wait until Hollywood makes the movie.   ;DLMAO

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
P.S. yes there are procedures in place for all situations
