Wish Me Luck!!

Postby Willit Run » Fri Jan 04, 2008 3:19 pm

Well, tomorrow I get to use one of my Christmas presents.  My Wife got me a gift certificate for a Helicopter Flight Demo.  It will be a 15 minute ground school of the controls and then a 30 minute flight where I will be at the controls for some of the time.  I will make a full report!!
I will also take some pictures if I'm not to busy!! :)

A link to Helicopter Flight Service I'll be doing this at.

Several things come to mind about helicopters.

1. They should naturally screw themselves into the ground.
2. They only fly because the don't know they should not.
3. Or they are so ugly that Mother Earth tries to repel them.
4. Have lots of fun and then go for a flight in a proper aircraft ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Let someone else take the photos for once & enjoy the flight. These things don't happen every day.

Have to agree with Matt on the helicopters though. :P

Having observed the trainee/trial flight Helicopter Pilots attempting to hover (mostly unsuccessfully) in one if those strange machines at my local Flying Club, I would suggest taking a spare pair of Trousers (and under-pants!) with you...;)...!

LOL.... ;D...!

Thank goodness for flying machines fitted with "Wings".... ;D...!

Paul.... 8-)...!

P.S. Check with your Life Insurance Provider before the "flight?".... ;)...!

...and have Fun!... 8-)...!
