Those are some awesome shots! Lovely day to have the airshow on, too.

A couple of once in a lifetime shots (unless you are really lucky and come again next year ;D)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Excellent shots!
I can't believe they let boats that close... that must be worrisome for the pilots; it's just too close, IMHO... even for the super-precise Blue Angels.

Agreed. Incredibly dangerous. It brought back memories of this at Brighton in May 1980.

It was the result of a collision with the mast of a solitary yacht in the restricted area. The stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me. Fortunately the pilot ejected safely. The aircraft came down in the sea & nobody was hurt. The Red Arrows have never displayed at Brighton since.

Yikes. The margin for error is almost nil with high-energy low-altitude displays. A flick of the wrist, a gust of wind, and things can unravel very quickly... so the buffer zone needs to be wider.
