Congrats to Airbus.  It was a long time coming (as with any new plane) but a well deserved achievement.  Best of luck to 'em.

That said, I can't wait to see the 787.  The A380 may be big and cool, but I think the 787 will be an enormous success.

Boeing is based in Chicago... however, commerical airplanes are built, tested, and as far as I know designed in Seattle. :)
