Quick report...on 56k so it's painfully slow

Got to the airport at 8 this morning in hope of catching one of the last remaining "proper" DC9s, unfortunately it was delayed until tomorrow ....guess I'll have to get up early again

Saw the Tu154 come in, but was on the wrong side of the airport...as it left at 11:55 it was always touch and go whether it would depart on 23L (where i was) or change to 23R at 12:00.....12:00 came and went and I saw nothing, fortunately a fellow spotter offered to take me round to the aviation viewing park, so we sped round there to try and get a good pic of the beast...still nothing, and I was just getting picked up about 30 mins later when I heard a tremendous noise coming from behind the hangars...figuring it was the 154, I payed another
