QANTAS have changed the tail kangaroo again mainly because of the 787 composite material that cant be painted any colour other than white and something to do with the a380 as well .

Quite. That would see the 787 order book disappear do to zero, considering the tail is generally the most visible symbol of an airlines brand (just ask British Airways!)...

The tail is not what i ment its the rear part of the fuesleage where the legs hang down but i was quoting someone else and i have asked him where he got his info and i am waiting for a response.

Euuuch...we spent how much making Skippy hop forwards? And the end result is crap. I'm going to miss the old Qantas logo - I have spent 14 years with that old livery. Its time to move on...

Here is a wikipedia link that has a bit about the logo about halfway down

It says that it's difficult to paint. Most likely it's too expensive. With aeroplanes you can't just slap on a bit of hammerite.
