Skybus

I am sure a lot of you have heard of this new airline called Skybus(http://www.skybus.com) They provide flights for as low as $10  to and from a few small airports. Another thing about this airline is that they don't have a phone number. You have to do everything online.

Sounds very much like easyJet which was based on Southwest.

Sure, its a cheap ticket, but you gotta remember that even with those prices, they're still making a profit (or at least trying to)...and they will have to cut corners to accomplish that...

I know. They probably don't have any snacks or pillows. As I said before they even don't have phones.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

This is your captain speaking I hope you enjoy the flight, in order to save money we will be flying on one engine for the majority of the flight. Dont be alarmed during our final approach the engines will be cut off at around 1000ft in order to save on fuel. I hope you enjoy the flight and please take the time to read some of the advertisements posted on the overhead compartment.

They fly A319s.

I dont see them workign here  They are basing themselves on O&D traffic from CMH.  I think that, not ridiculous seat pitch and paying for everything is the biggest problem.  until a storm hits.

There are just 10 seats on each flight for 10 US dollars! The rest are just a overpriced as other airlines. But on the bright side most flights are direct.
