Looks pretty good, particularly if your a fan of old jets! Its a day after my last GCSE exam so i should hopefully be going as a celebration of the completion of my exams.  :)

I'll make my grandparents take me  ;D
My grandad would love to see a flying Meteor as he as in an RAF squadron with them.

Doesn't look bad at all. Of course it all depends on the weather. I missed it last year for some reason.

possibly the Falklands flypast out of London including the Vulcan, maybe,

I'll believe that when I see it. I wouldn't put money on it. :-/

Flying at Kemble might be severely restricted soon if some people have their way. http://www.deltajets.com/news.php?id=22

The organiser has come out and said that shouldn't affect the airshow (whether that's true or not is up for debate, but have to think positive!). As for the flypast, I quote the official website. ;)

and to finish the day off with a grand finale, the majority of planes in the official flypast over Buckingham Palace on that day will make Kemble Air Day their next stop before flying home.

I'm talking about the Vulcan. I very much doubt it will make that flypast.

Hence why he said 'maybe'. ;)

With regards to the Vulcan, the corrosion has been sorted, and engine 1 (the third engine to be fitted) is being prepared for fitting. Progress is being made!

That looks great, I may be able to make that (possibly even solo, no one else to worry about  ;) )

Looks like a SimV AGM may be on the cards  8-)

Only problem is the website doesnt mention the shuttle buses from Kemble station this year....I remember standing by a pub in Kemble villiage waiting for a bus watching hunters fly over last year, and standing on the railway bridge watching the red arrows :D

If all the falklands flypast is coming to Kemble it would be awesome!

If you're going to Hullavington Mic you'd better get a move on. :P Have a nice time. ;)

Apart from the Red Arrows & the highly unlikely appearance of the Vulcan it's not clear what this flypast will consist of. It's quite likely that most of the aircraft will be at Kemble anyway.

Various RAF types, I suppose. The ones I've heard are the VC-10, Nimrod, Dominie, C-130, and probably all the usual RAF stuff that flies over London for special occasions. We'll more than likely find out closer to the time!
