A couple of questions about RIAT...

Postby mrjake2002 » Fri May 11, 2007 3:23 pm

I'll be staying in a nearby campsite (300 yds from nearest enterance). What time do you recommend i take my place at the crowdline? I want to be right at the front to get some quality pictures and footage. Also, is there some sort of re-entry system? Im going with my step dad who probably couldn't take 12 hrs of planes so can he leave the site and come back later?

Cheers for help.  :)

I normally turn up for 9 in the morning and still get a relatively decent spot on the line....it doesnt really matter if you're in the second row....after all they're in the air most of the time ;)

.mic.....trying to persuade Parents to take me on Saturday and Monday this year :D

For photos rotation point is the best bet. Although it can be hard to find a crowdline spot for it if they are taking off the same way as this Typhoon was, with several enclosures taking up space.

any excuse to show off some shots eh ;)

Have to agree there though....if you can get rotation spots they're the best place to go, especially if you have a less powerful camera.
