OSHKOSH!

I will most definitely be going now...

It's still 4 months, 2 days away, and I'm just quivering in my chair. :D  I wonder if they'll be giving rides...? 8-) ;)

I... uh.. don't think they'll be giving rides. Not in the F22s, anyway.
But they usually give rides in the Tri-Motor... a totally different kind of fun...

I'm hoping to be there, but my employers are notorious for dashing my vacation plans at the last minute (had to cancel last year- the 50th anniversary of the C172...waaaa!)
Still pondering whether or not I'm prepared to just go anyway... if I can't go to Airventure again, what's the point of having this job? ;)

I'm going to try to convince my parents to take me this year....possibly go either before or after orientation.  Will have more news on that come May 3rd.

They had the F-22's last year also, but they never landed. Just came did their show and went back to base.

That's beautiful; plenty close enough for me.
But even more than seeing the first 172, I regret missing that massive display of Skyhawk pride... the mass arrivals... the whole thing.
I'm a Cessna pilot mostly by default, but I have no complaints. Any 170-series Cessna is a friend of mine... ;d

I plan on going again with my brother and my girlfriend for a couple of days. I plan on volunteering with the Protect our Planes Program. Should be a great convention
