When I was 15 I spent my whole life wanting the build a Wheel Barrow....

..but a year later I became 16, and went out with Girls instead... :-*...!

Paul.... ;D...!

Might have been a lot better off building that wheelbarrow. :P ;D

Have you tried getting down to it in a wheelbarrow :o The back seat of a car is much easier ;D

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Tee-Hee.... ;D...!

It's a funny old do...

When we are very, very young, we have all sorts of fancy ideas about what we are going to do...

...I wonder just how many of them actually turn out into reality.... ::)...?

...or do we just...."Grow up".... ;)....LOL.... ;D....!

Paul...The Wheel Barrow was a bad idea...I only put one wheel in front...Buggar!... :-[.... :'(....!

Hmmm....I'm gonna have to agree with Ecko on this one. Sorry mate. You are only 15, I doubt that the FAA would even certify it for manned flight. Trust me on this. I'm only 12, however I have thought about the same things. However it just is not possible for a child to do something like this. Think about it. You would have to take into consideration, how much fuel will it take, the MTOW for it, will it fly (or are we gonna have to get An-225 to install an FBW system to stabilise it), how will it fly in 1/2 scale, will the powerplants be enough to reach V2 etc. Also, no offense, but having lots of money isn't an excuse or a proper argument/reason for how you are going to build it.

Trust me.

Cheers, An-225.

Well, he didn't say he's going to start on it right now. There's nothing wrong with having a dream. This could be a long-term project. Good luck I say. :)

I'm afraid that when Bon_Air's amazing idea comes to fruition, (if at all?), you, (and Bon_Air), will have reached middle-age, and beyond, and I will have long been pushing up the Daisies, and converted into compost...as 'appens.... :o...!

LOL... ;D...!

...but he could dream of building one.  And one day when he has more resources at his disposal, if he's still passionate about this project, you never know.  Maybe he will.

My bet is that a "Girlfriend" will come along....
..and that will put an instant stop to that dream...

..as always 'appens.... ;)...!

Paul...When I was 15, I used to dream of "Human Levitation"....
..now I'm a lot older, I notice that I've always been firmly stuck to the ground... :-/....!

I'm also the official "Burster of Dream Balloons"... 8-)...!
LOL... ;D...!

Bonair....;)

Many thanks for the two links above...Excellent....!!

Looking at all the faces on the photographs reminds me that they could all have been taken at a typical countryside airfield in the depths of England.... :)...!

Indeed, they could all have been taken at my local Aero Club...!!

I'm amazed how "English-looking" Canadians are...

Wizard prang, and all that sort of thing, young fellow-me-lad....... :)...!

Have fun...!
