Not really, he could see where he was going. The pucker factor is with the co-pilot. He can't see a thing and it traveling a high speed sat behind a significantly weakened window................Boss, I am just off for a quick pee, you have got it nicely covered here

Laughing aside, I was sent by my company to oversee a 737-800 "C" check a couple of years ago. The tail plane leading edge was very badly dented by a multiple bird strike, probably half as bad as this one. I thought that it was fit only for the scrap bin, by the time the metal workers had finished with it, you would never have known. I was amazed, though I think that this one IS a scrap candidate.

All my flights are boring with the pilot choosing to go around the storm instead of through it.  >:(
