Time to call it a day I think.

Runway with speed bump

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Don't tell me that the photograph in that article depicts the *actual* road where the chap landed!  :o

Hi Thursday... ;)...!

I think that photo just shows an example of a typical traffic speed bump, (for the uninitiated), very common on our British road system, which often results in damage to aircraft forced to land on them due to unforeseen circumstances.... :'(....!

They also cause much alarm and consternation to the Emergency Services, (and Motorcyclists*), in a hurry to get to their destination... :o...!

Paul...Honda Motorcycles and speed bumps do not go together very well....trust me... ::).... 8-)....!

* ...and some aircraft... :P...!

It could be a recent photo of the same road. The incident happened almost 6 months ago.

::)   Did we forget our glasses, perhaps?  Or did we just forget how to go around...?

I hope this guy has considered hanging up his wings, sad as that is for anybody.
