Not bad at all. May I ask which I got wrong?

Perhaps a list of the correct answers. :)

Perhaps a list of the correct answers. :)

Here's the list of my answers as our quizmaster hasn't been in for a day or two. I admit to being quite lucky with one or two guesses...

4. Yakovlev Yak-130
5. Boeing 737-400
6. Tupolev Tu-160 "Blackjack"
7. Antonov An-2 "Colt"
8. DH/HS/BAe 125-(800 maybe)
9. Bell-222
10. Westland Lysander
11. Blohm & Voss BV-141

How did I not see the star on the TU-4? :-X

I believe I got this lot wrong:

1. Tupolev TU-4 "Bull"
4. Yakovlev Yak-130
18. BAe EAP
20. Hawker Tornado
25. Morane Saulnier MS.406

The Yak-130 looks remarkably similar to the Aermacchi M-346, although I suppose the fact that it's Russian ruled that one out. Got mixed up with 'EAP' and 'EFA' too.

I got the Hind wrong. I put down that it was either a Hart or a Fury.

How many aircraft did Airshowlover name I wonder?

Oooh and also, how do we know that the first one is actually a Tu4. My memory on this is a bit sketchy but didn't the Russians get their hands on three B29's. One was taken apart to see what went where. One was taken apart so all the pieces could be copied. And the other was left in one piece so that the Russian pilots had something to practice on. So, that Tu4 could be a B29 and no one could ever tell the difference. ;D ;D ;D

Visually not... but the measuring tape tells another story
