I had some time to kill today, so I went out to Port Columbus, scanner in hand, for some plane-spotting. Rounding the terminal to the plane spotting are, I saw the big, beautiful, swept tail.. It was a 727 :) Not rare for sure, but not very common either.
When I got to a point where I could really see it.. I saw what looked like vintage Pan Am paint. NO CAMERA >:(
Anyway.. I just got done researching it. Turns out it belongs to Boston-Maine Airways. Then I checked FlightAware to see where it came from, and where it went. Didn't "look" like a charter fligh, but it could have been. I'm hoping that BMA has started scheduled service to Columbus. If so.. I'll be out there for a photo.
