Quantus has definutly but I don't know about any other.

Is that the same QANTAS who ordered a further eight A380s last week is it?

Sometimes people could do with checking their facts. It isn't difficult. ::)

Not what it says here. http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2006/10/30/business/ME_FIN_COM_Emirates_Airbus.php

PS. It's QANTAS (Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Service).

thats pronounced con-tas then if they want it pronounced kwan-tas then change the spelling to QUANTAS :P

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I thought it was a problem with the electrical wiring.

Rats deserting a sinking ship?

Its starting to look that way. And all because Airbus was to cheap to make sure all of their design plants were using the same version of design software.

Like the man said.......you can pay me now, or you can pay me a lot more later.

When were they supposed to get their A380Fs?  They won't be seeing a single 777F until 2009, would it have taken longer before their received the A380s?

The 787's being designed to be able to fly it's routes on 20% less fuel than it's competition.  What airline's gonna ignore that?  Jet engines are tremendously thirsty, and with the price of gas being such an issue these days, this is a huge advantage for the 787.

We will have to wait and see on that. Boeing are saying that the engines will use 20% less fuel, GE states 15% for the GEnex engine and Rolls Royce do not give a figure for the Trent 1000.
