I dont see a significant difference, maybe it's just the fresh green/white/red, which catch the eye's! ;) ;D

TBH it's hardly any different.

Removal of the black nose, and a slightly bigger "A" on the tail/fuselage. It just looks cleaner, if you ask me!

I don't really see the difference.  And plus, it could be worse.  Ever see Southwest's old colors?  Looked like vomit.
