That was one of the wildest guesses I have ever made!!

I was just guessing, but thought it couldn't be, after that piece of metal in Mic thread was apparantly the only part left.

I put this question at the end of a photo question, but we can try again here.

What did the Brabazon have that no other aircraft has had.

Clue, it was to do with landing.

B1 (Cat C) licenced engineer, Boeing 737NG 600/700/800/900 Airbus A318/19/20/21 and Dash8 Q-400
1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Believe it or not, but the Brabazon actually had a light in the cockpit to tell the pilots that they had landed.
The gear on the Brabazon was so soft and the landing so gentle that the test pilots reported during testing that they did not know if they had touched down or were still floating, thus making the decision to chop the power a little harder. So a "you have arrived" light was installed.................The things you learn courtesy of Discovery Wings.
