I read this article that says there will be a green tax imosed on air travel within member European Nations. This seems very bad news for Eurpoean air carriers. Will this cause people to take to the roads instead?

RyanAir already announced they will stop flying from several swedish cities if this proposal comes through.
I know many people will choose the train or even bus if this tax is implemented. :-/
