A380 Bristol Flyover

Postby Mictheslik » Wed May 17, 2006 11:36 am

For anyone living in or near Bristol, the A380 is going to do a flypast on the same path as concorde tommorow between 12 and 12:30.

Just though you might like to know.

If it comes up from the direction of Exeter then I might see that :)

Remember, Mic - if you see it, you'll have a camera, right? ;D

Ill either be in History or PE. Our school is directly on the flightpath and I'm sure our nice history teacher will let us go out and see it. As for PE which starts at 12:25, thats a different matter  ;)

Ill still take a camera to school.

If it comes in over the Ockham VOR it should fly right over my house...I may even see it banking left to head over the City of London. I just hope i can get a few pics of it.

Nice shot smashie  8)
Well I looked for it, and apparently it was in the Ockham hold so should have flown over/near my house.
It didn't.

Just watched Sky News and the landing at Heathrow.
Did anyone else notice the rudder working and the deflection. That is one big piece of equipment.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
