1. Plane doesent match coloring of video

2. Water doesnt come off the wings

3. Navy wouldent be caught dead flying an Air Force F-15

Partly true I think actually.... the 'F15' in that clip that initially comes out of the sea is almost certainly, IMO taken out of a photo! :D ;)

Only flying missile carrier that did go low over water is the Lun... not something you want to have sneaking in on your carrier group.

The Argentines did that in the Falklands war with the Super Etendards. AEW was developed to put a stop to that kinda behaviour.

Not much use for AEW when your opponent has 6 Granit missile launchers...

Not much use for 6 Granit missile launchers when you've been shot down and hastily swimming for home after being picker up by the aforementioned AEW. ;D

Take a look at this video...I've never heard of such a thing being possible...To me it looks fake because of the way the jet behaves...but I could be wrong...can someone shed some light on this?

Cheers,
Ashar

Wow, you weren't actually serious, were you?

I think what we are all missing here is "How did they get an F-15 underwater and have it take off underwater without ripping its wings off?"

:)

Still neat though.

People can just be gullible.  Has anyone seen the diet Mountain Dew commercial where the guy grabs the fin of a great white shark and goes for a ride?  It was on the cafeteria TVs and I overheard someone say "Bah, that's no big deal.  They obviously used a trained shark".

:o

That person is legally allowed to own and use sharp pointy objects like kitchen knives and forks!
