Pics of what I fly...

Postby Boss_BlueAngels » Mon Mar 27, 2006 11:59 pm

Here you go guys, finally I got some pics of the Cardinal 177RG I'm flying!

Here she is fresh from a 100 hour!  I was able to help the mechanics by removing/replacing all interior and panels.  I was quite amazed at the number of access panels on this bird!  20 per wing!  Not to mention inside... there are probably another 20 inside.  It was pretty sweet though being able to look right at the landing gear retraction system as it was in motion!  Pretty sweet... although I'm sorry to say that was BC. (Before Camera)

Anyway, this was taken about 30 minutes after I finished washing her.  Not a spec of grease/oil on her!  Mirror smooth.  :D

Hope you like 'em!

They're something else, hu ?  Funny how they feel under-powered taking off and climbing out, but trim out to a good 140tas @ 8000msl. Visibility's excellent too. you can actually sight down the leading edge.

Have you tried a no-flaps take off and/or landing yet ?

I've been hopping all over the midwest in N177MJ and have it booked for Oshkosh..

Very clean bird. Much more sexy than the 172 and 182.
