Hourly Fuel Consumption

Postby Poseidon » Mon Jan 30, 2006 7:09 am

Anyone aware of some site providing info about the hourly fuel consumption for airliners? I know it greatly differs according to many factors but I am refering to full passengers and standard cruise level and speed for each aircraft.

It's not 100% accurate since like you said fuelburn can vary, but it's better than nothing. You have to scroll far down (select HTML file) so see the fuel consumption

MiG-31 (or MiG-25) did 9 liters each second or so, dunno if that was with afterburner on
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

The Tomcat eats up 300 gals/min in AB.  :o
The day is always better when you're flying upside down.
