To be fair, until today nothing had been written in this thread for over a year! :)

Which is more annoying than people being a little excited about things they have done or been on.

It is an old thread, but oh well. I got to fly a Cessna 170 tail dragger yesterday. I had just finished with a flight lesson with my instructor, and when we got back to the airport, another local pilot asked me if I wanted to fly around the area for about an hour. You know me, I just couldn't resist ;D

Once we were up in the air, he let me fly it for a while 8)

This is my second time flying a cessna 170 and being in a tail dragger. Now if I can convince other pilots to take me up in their cool aircraft ;D

I must admit since to post started I've added about 9 types to the list, but nothing beats running into Duxford in the Harvard! First twin time on a Chieftan too. :)

This thread is getting annoying, it's most people saying "I'm 15/14 so I am very special flying planes at this age". I'm 12 and have ridden in heaps of Air Force planes, I can't fly anything but.

LMAO - if the thread was annoying you so much then why did you bother to drag it back here after a year in the twilight zone - it was maturing nicely at the back of the server.....................

;)

I like this thread, it's always nice to see what aircafts people have flown. :)

As for me, I've only piloted the 72', the 182RG and once an Archer II.

Not very impressive, but I love flying em', and I certainly hope to expand the amount of planes. Preferably with the F-16 or the JSF, which will mostly likely be entering service in the RDAF when I (if I) become a pilot.

Lol! ;D I'm quite glad. I appreciate my spine and its (current) servicability!

Now what chance this gets left for another year?

I just happened to have had a very lucky job in the last year whilst waiting to continue which meant I got to fly in the back of a few nice (different) aircraft. My only regret is that it was a shame I was unable to share any of the experiences as I was not allowed to carry a camera.

As I said, I consider myself very lucky, although it was very, very tough 5 years of work to get into the position to be able to have the experiences I had.

At the moment I'm flying training on the Tucano...
