just practice and experience. It's like driving a car in the end, really. But I can tell you that the 747 is quite tough for new pilots to handle on the ground, since it's so long and the nosewheel is very far back. Often you must wait to turn the aircraft until the cockpit is litterarly over the grass ;D
Fortunately reverse bay parking isn't really a requirement.
