Call me old-fashioned but I'll go for analogue, just like my wristwatch. You know where you are with them & a glass cockpit just wouldn't look right in a Tiger Moth.

Depends. A 747 would look ancient if it had analogue gauges, a Chipmunk with glass gauges would look too modern. Simple

Back on topic, and looking at a future scenario where GA glass cockpits are common, I wonder how a (private) pilot would cope if he had a MFD failure leading to having to do a partial panel instrument scan on standby analogue instruments he may not have looked at/practiced on for a year or so...

I thought the Spitfire windscreen was made of armoured glass. They don't come more pedantic than me.

It just occurred to me that a glass cockpit wouldn't be much use on a Tiger Moth as it has no electrical supply or even a battery.

All analogue. I absolutely despise the idea of putting all glass panels in a GA plane :-/. It's a huge waste of money. I guess I should have picked "depends on the aircraft, because they are perfectly suited to airiners and fighter jets, but now I can't retract my vote for some reason.
