A little off topic but:

1Gbps connection!! why! would you even notice a difference between that and 100Mbps that a lot of people have now? I mean it's like the frame rate thing- after about 20 FPS it all looks the same to the human eye.

you probably wouldn't....

1GBPS or even 100MBPS is faster already than your hard drive can write....

so it makes no difference at all, as the transfer speed is now being limited by the HD

it does annoy me a bit, as i have a very slow 300kbps connection and i pay as much as you guys probably pay for your 3Mbps line..... so 1GBPS seems like a cruel joke to me

about that thing that synchs FS with google earth.... that seems interensting, but surely there will be no panels, models, or even a basic active clickable DVC, with XML gauges

it would be interesting to fly in goggle earth with a joystick though
