The project has the support of the US Federal Aviation Administration.

Looks good... and entertainment value would rise if they have onboard cameras

Dude, we are human beings. We like getting into dangerous situations. ;D Now, if you don't mind, I'll go back to the vault and continue research on a highly-dangerous, highly-unstable marmalade compound. ;D

Everything is dangerous. The FAA probably allowed this either because someone handed them a large bag of money, or because they figure that the pilots know its dangerouse and are prepared to take that chance.

Looking at the actual series website, it appears the aircraft are no more than the rocket powered Rutan Vari-eze (type thing) - Vne about 195kts... :)


That's dangerous enough. Where do I sign up?
Do we get to train first in JATO-equipped Ercoupes?
