Flanker down... going to be blown up

A Russian Navy Su-33 had a landing mishap north of england... pilot ejected safely, and the wreck will be blown up as soon as possible

Probably an international agreement. If it's badly damaged it's easier & more secure than scrapping it.

You say this is the North of England. If so, where & when did it happen? I haven't seen or heard anything about it & can't find anything on the web. Do you have a reliable source?

Tech and nothing else... it isn't an exported model.

You always, always demo a downed fighter in wars-one of the chief missions groups like the Green Berets train for is to infiltrate deep into enemy teritorry to demo downed planes.  You don't need that tech in enemy hands.

This is a bit more complicated.  I can imagine the call... "Hey, Putin, bloody good to hear from you!  How ya been?  What's that?  Eh, no problem old chap, we'll blow up your sensitive technology for you, after all, I owe you for that night in Amsterdam..."

Somewhere in the North Atlantic at a depth of 1100 metres. Going to be destroyed by (guided I assume) depth charge....
