Becoming a Commercial Pilot

Postby James Turbett » Thu Sep 01, 2005 1:26 pm

Hi,

I'm James and I was wondering if anybody knew anything about life as a pilot and what to do to become a pilot (preferably for British Airways). I hav gone through all the sites but the BA Site is pretty usesless as it provides out of date information. Any information on anything to do with ATP's would be great.

Thanks,
James Turbett

work hard in school get a good education. When you can, get a job and start saving. The other option is military this will greatly reduce costs and even gets you paid for it. The civilian route, can be expensive costing upto and over

Its not to expensive, but its not cheap...if you go the civilian way get your PPL and become a CFI then become a MEI to gain hours....also if you get a job at the airport your school is based you may get to meet people and get connections which can later in life help you out.
