I've always been affraid to fart inside a pressurized airplane for fear that the smell would linger and be more potent due to the thinner air... kind of like a rich mixture. Any thoughts?

.....I got news for ya'....... It's not always "in the tail".
- there's a relief valve at the tail that lets air trickle out (that's how they maintain the desired pressure); it's not like you'd be stuck with the stink...

On the Lear's(from the 23 all the way to, at least, the 55) it's on the pressure bulkhead, immediately forward of the F/O's feet!
I couldn't wait to upgrade to Captain and get out of that right seat. EVERYTIME someone beefed, I knew it! :-X
