Thank goodness it is a merger... I'd hate to see the wonderful US AIR livery replaced by the Fugly America West livery ::)

BTW, I said there is no such thing as an ugly aeroplane, there are however ugly liveries you can paint on them ::)
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
GeForce FX5200 256Mb
1GB DDR400 DC
Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD
Windows XP Professional X64 Edition

That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they

So are all the America West planes going to become USAirways livery, or do you think that America West will keep them in their own livery...?

would it not be expensive to paint all of those aircraft

They're all going to become Air Canada planes.

I was hoping we would finally see a change of scenery in Philly.  Most people here are kind of fed up with USAir.  Maybe under the new deal they'll be a bit better.

This is a tough one, USAir wasn't sold nor was America west they merged, so dont expect to see either dissapear. You might get better regional service in Philly but certainly not international service. sorry.

See I don't look at in from the customers point of view...I think of all the jobs saved including the pilots who still have a job...I just flew into philly a few weeks ago and talked with a USAir pilot, he was so madded at the way things were going and he told what would be the next to fail, and he was correct.  I can only hope this works out for the best...

Also I was not saying the customer does not matter

The blue and grey is just fine with me (I actually like it a lot), it's the service inside those pressurized tin cans that's the problem. ;D
