A380 first flight

I have read (source my secret ;D) that the A380 is going to fly for the first time on April 22 2005!

i would say 20th to the 30th. date specific is impossible till a day or two before the flight. weather and crew readyness needs to be good.

Yes, I read a similar source today, maybe on A-net or pprune - I can't remeber which. Second half of April, it will fly when they're happy to. I'll put a fiver on Wednesday. Don't know why...

The wale will fly next week. The crew will consist of six people, among them testpilots Claude Lelaie and Jacques Rosay...both well known in the industrie.

again it can be any day except tuesday. Or tuesday but any time before 1:30pm and after 3:30pm :)

Surprising that - one being Airbus Chief test pilot and the other being Airbus chief exec (I think). Shame that the flight crew represents all the nations of the project bar one...
