It is worth going. Hell its free. Been twice in the last year, prob going back again in a couple of weeks as i live a short distance from it. Its better to go on a dry day as there is quite a bit of outside walking and exhibits involved.
cool, cheers mate. how long do you reckon the average visit there is? and do you reckon that kids will enjoy it? is there anythin for them to do? cheers :)
your visit can last as long as you want it to. If its a beautiful day you can take a picnic and eat lunch out on the green. Or you can rush through as quick as you want. Yes there is stuff for kids. A whole section dedicated to hands on learning, just down the hall from the TSR2 and across from the Lightnings, so you can drool over those while keeping an eye on the kids:)
I've been to cosford a few time with the air cadets on the air show days, and had a look round, i dont know what'll be there on a normal day, but there are certainly a lot of aircraft inside and out, 707, victor i think, and a certain large attack aircraft thats painted all white and was very fast on one engine....
