Amph. Bouncing landings

Dear real and sim. Pilots,

How do I stop the Cessna Amphibian FS9 plane form bouncing in landing on land, or soild runway? I land at about 65 knots and hold the nose up letting it settle down. Maybe the plane needs stronger shocks or something? Other Amphibian planes don't bounce at all.
Any helps here for a sim bush pilot JFG.

ive never had any trouble with the default amphib myself.  The best way to cushion is to just almost completely minimize your descent rate few feet off the ground at idle...

I did as You say, and landed at almost stall speed, but it was important for me to not do this until I was about 1/3 the way down the runnway, then cut to idle and not pull up, but let the plane level off and land.

Thanks again, now I just need more practice, landing on land.

It just takes some practice. Any airplane will bounce if you land too hard or too fast. The amphibian is probably more prone to bouncing because it has less shock-absorption in the main gear, and you usually try to land at a flatter angle to prevent scraping the end of the floats. Just keep trying and you will get it one of these days.

Actually, in real life, the flare (for smaller aircraft) is stalling it.  Everytime I flare on landing (in real life) I hear the whistling sound of the stall warning.

Right-o. If you've ever done a full stall you will notice you get the full-on-really-loud-buzzer, but on your flare you should hear it intermittently, just coming on and off, like what happens if you've been watching Top Gun too much and get a little attitude-happy on rotation.

Besides leveling off from descent, is a flare also acting to increase drag, i.e. using the whole plane and wingspan as it's own airbrake  like a bird does? Just want to be sure on this. Thanks.

Yeah, you could say that by exposing more of the body to the oncoming air it is increasing drag, but the purpose of increasing drag is to decrease VS and airspeed (the exact purpose of a flare), so basically yes.

Now I can appreciate a good landing and all the stuff that goes with it. I can now land the Cessna Amph. at around stall speed.
You guys sure make Sim flying more real for me. You see I can't fly or probably will not even be flown any where,  because I have an innner ear balance problem most all my life, do take medicine for it but must watch thing that cause problems like lots of pressure and rapid movements, even in the Flight Sim games.
