Woke up this morning and first thing I saw on the news was 3 aircraft crashes over the weekend.

Though one was due to a parachute that opened prematurely and was caught on the tail of a small Cessna, causing the plane to spiral out of control and crash killing the guy who was stuck on the tail. Rest of the people were able to jump and parachute to safety

Another in California that involved a lear jet. All on board deceased

and lastly some NASCAR folks in a Beech King Air 200 crashed killing all on board somewhere in the mountains of NC in dense fog.

not a good week for small aircraft

I just watched the new show on discovery channel about The Alaska airlines flight 276 MD80 that crashed into the pacific off the coast of california. It was quite emotional to watch because I lived in alaska for 13 years and have flown on an alaska airlines MD80 many times and knowing that i could have ben on that plane or one if the many other planes that were poorly maintenanced or neglected. In the show they played the Recordings of other pilots that saw the plane go down and what they said. The sound in thier voices made me feel really sad. I dont know if Anyone on here has seen it.  This show made me relize the horror of a passenger plane going down....  :(
