What do you mean exactly?
Could you develop your theory?

I've seen in a few places that the instruments on the B737 are glss..but then on the SouthWest airlines B737 it is plastic..I was just wondering why this is?

Are you talking about Analog vs Digital (737 classic vs NG) or about the two different instrument layouts for the 737NG (PDF/ND and EFIS "Southwest" style)?

No 737-700 vs 737-700... one being the SouthWest livery...when southwest airlines purchased there 737's they opt. for plastic instrument covers...while other companies otp. for glass I was just wondering on why they did so...

probably because plastics might be cheaper to replace in case of scratches.
I had no clue about this - where did you read it?

I know exactly what he is on about now.
The captain in the flight mentions that the 777 is more advanced because its a totally glass cockpit. What is meant by this, is the fact that the instruments are all digital, none of them are the original analoge.
