Indian AF - USAF Joint exercise outcome

Postby Ivan » Thu Jun 24, 2004 1:37 pm

Rumours go that the once mighty F-15C didn't perform well... with a 90% loss rate in simulated combat against Su-30MK (non-TVC one) and an updated MiG-21 variant

Obviously done on purpose so as to justify early retirement of the F-15 and increased procurement of the F-22.

Pity they didn't convince the IAF to put the Su-30MKI in action... would have learned those F-15's a real lesson

Aye, but we all know that the British fighters of the 50's and 60's are more than a match for anything today. ;D

Of course, those two engines one on top of the other - FANTASTIC!

I saw one once with a Spectre rocket motor mounted between those 2 engines. It was the loudest thing I've ever heard & my ears are still ringing. ;D

F-15 is getting to be an old lady, and the F-22 definately is a huge improvement.  ;)
