Thanks Shane, I am hoping to get 5 minutes to put it in the same table form as before.

I'm just going to keep updating this thread every two weeks, instead of making new ones.  ;)

Not picking, but I thought you only got the bonus points if the quali picks finished in the same order in the race? If not I'll need to go through the seasons results to check because I'm sure we've had a few picks for the 3 in quali.

Thanks for keeping it updated :) I am catching up ;)  ;D

If thats how it is, thats how it is. We'll have none of the FIA well we said this, but meant this rubbish lol. I've had such a busy year my poor brain struggles to remember things.

I will double check the predictions though because I am sure there was a couple of times people have come close, only for a crash or something to take the double away. Again though that could just be my brain melting  ;D

;D ;D  If they ran it like this, where would they be now?  ;)

At the rate you & Rob are gaining, this may be my last week on top here.  ;)

It's been a fun ride though.  8-)

I'm hoping the other teams pick their game up to mix it up.
I wont deny I am taking wild shots in the dark to at least try and play catch up.
My original pick had button in 3rd, that was quickly clear he wouldn't finish there. Then I had Alonso, but I heard after FP3 he might need an engine change, so I took the gamble on Hamilton in 3rd despite the poor practice showing.
Germany will be a tough one to pick I think. It's not so much about aero, but Mechanical grip, especially the last section. Which would suit the Mclarens, but the first sections would suit the Red Bulls, but the Mclarens top speed comes into it on that straight. So I think it'll be a toughy.

If I had stayed with my original picks this week, I'd have been
much better off points wise.

Germany is usually good for a wet race, and one of Barichello's better tracks, wouldn't mind seeing him do well there again, but that is a long shot.

[edit]
Did the qualify double check, there have been plenty of 1-2 calls, but no one had the top 3 starters picked.
Used this for checking: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/formula-1 ... /2010.html [/edit]

The bonus points were intended as exactly that .......... you only get them if the 123 finish is the same as the quali order after any penalties in both the race and quali are taken into account.

eg If the race finishes Button, Hamilton, Webber ....... and that is the same order as they qualified, then the points are awarded. If however the order of qualification was that above ....... but Hamilton was given a grid penalty between quali and the race ...... then no bonus.

The idea of it was that it was ment to be rare ........  :o

I think Shane should keep the 5 bonus points.
CD.

I think Shane should keep the 5 bonus points.

I'll agree with it based on the original evidence posted.
But from here on out we go with the idea that I thought was originally intended with the 3 grid 3 result idea.
Damn we've become the FIA lol.
Shane throw your 5 points back on.
