Already talk of manditory 2nd pitstops. (what that'll do I have no idea)
Forcing teams to use a different set of tyres again,
Changing the compounds/ make up of the tyres to make them wear out quicker (as Whitmarsh said "had a safety car come out on lap 5, we all would have pitted for the harder tyres and run to the end on those with no issues")

The more they change things, the more they try to level the field, the more they try to standardise things, the worse it gets, and the more money it's costing everyone.
I really wish the FIA would leave things be. 2006/07/08 were all classic seasons, they all had overtaking, and the races in general were exciting bar a few exceptions.

As a secondary note from the weekend, as noted on BBC TV, Bernie has taken away the trackside passes of the drivers physio's. He claims the grid is already too packed for them to be there. The drivers have now set up protests by going off to their pit boxes till the last minute, until they get the passes back.

My question is, if its that busy, why is Rory Bremner (was it?) walking the grid taking the p*ss out of Jackie stewart, while someone important cant get on? ::)

The first joke of the season:
Karum Chandok will not participate this weekend as he missed the practice session this morning with gearbox issues. Rules state if you do not participate in at least 1 of the sessions you will not be allowed to run in the rest of the weekend.
When was the last time that happend?? ::)

Edit: I have no idea why Chandok is dressed to race something fishy going on?

He raced, so how does that work then :-? :-?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

How does the PORG have a say on who has a pit side pass. He has the entertainment rights. Who is pit side should be down to the FIA and the track owners in conjunction with elf and safety :-?

FOM control pit/paddock passes, no idea why. But Bernie argues it is up to the teams to allocate their grid passes to who they want including physio's. The teams/drivers argue that the team only get the amount they need for the team themselves.

As for Chandok, apparently they changed the rules this past year to allow non runners to qualify. Dangerous and stupid considering Chandoks first run in an F1 car was quali and his 4th lap was the first lap of a race. how that makes sense i dont know.
