USF1 are a joke. They seem to be run by three different people (Anderson, Windsor, Hurley) who never talk to each other, all with very different ideas on how things are going.
Hurley is looking at a full take over, but what happens then is anyones guess. Some have him merging with Stefan, others, Campos. Some still believe they can go it alone even if it means missing the first flyaways.
Lotus and Virgin are two key examples as to why testing is vital, they got in late, but still early enough to test and are both a good 5 to 8 seconds off race pace per lap. I hate to think what it is going to be like when Campos and maybe USf1 turn up in Bahrain.

USF1 are a joke.

The US has no business being in F1.  We are clearly outclassed and outgunned, and out of cash.  ;)

If they would bring F1 back to the US, I would like to see it at Laguna Seca. It reminds me of my favorite race track, A-1 ring, now that was always a good race.  8-)
I would love to see them try to scream through the corkscrew, that would be exciting.

There seems to be a growing number of 'flat' tracks that have no character anymore.  :'(

I went to the first GP at Indy in 2000, and honestly, it was the worst racing event I've ever been to.
Everything cost more, compared to the Indycar, and Nascar race that year, even though it was the same crap.
The air was too snobby, you couldn't get close to anything remotely cool, unless you were a team member, or insanely rich.
At the Indy500 and Brickyard 400, I got cold pit passes for $10 and got to meet several drivers, and see the garage up close.  Very welcoming atmosphere.

Which is what the teams are trying to now sort out with various fan surveys and such.

This is why we have a two to three year lead in for F1 when a new team wants to join ::)

I'm going against popular opinion here but I think F1 needs a US team in some form or other. The Americans are very patriotic when it comes to their teams and would view them the same as they do their other national teams.
That has to be good for the sport.

I think they should rename F1 A1GP and have national teams.  ;D
That last sentence was a joke of course...
