Ok sorry I've been denied that for a while but finally.....
I do feel sorry for the Wheatcrofts, they've been royally screwed by Gillett, who deserves every bit of litigation Bernie will throw at him. Donnington is now a building site with no money. The Iconic Dunlop bridge is gone, and all for nothing.
I never wanted to see this place host the gp, I dont like the track for that purpose, but it still had a good setting for things like Touring cars, and smaller series.

Getting the track ready was the least of their worries. The transport infrastructure around Donington is absolutely awful. I've spent HOURS getting out of the car park.. after hours getting in. And that was for a relatively minor motor racing event... Ask Eno, he was waiting for my spare ticket  :P

It was never going to work.
