The guy who does it, suggests it, and goes to Flavio and pat to suggest it, gets off scott free
If he hadn't been offered immunity would we have been any the wiser? No. Thankfully we've now got rid of one of the least desirable characters in F1 (who was running Bennetton at Australia in 1994 - I wonder if that was discussed pre race, should it be required?).
Piquet had a tough time in F1, and maybe this little saga has exposed that maybe it wasn't all his own doing - particularly after Alonso's experience at McLaren.
I'd be quite interested to see how he'd do next year in a new team.
